HISTORY
THE VERY BIRTH
The Portuguese Academy of Fine Arts, was created in 2010 in the Portuguese City of Aveiro, as A.B.A (Academia de Belas Artes de Aveiro).
​
MISSION
The main objective was promote in the city all the courses related to Fine Arts, (like Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Antiques Restoration, among others) and keep Art near of all, with an excelllent program of inclusium, with no barriers of age, of academic degrees, of language, and more, because only one thing matters: ART!
NATIONALIZATION
In 2017, the A.B.A. (Academia Belas Artes de Aveiro) became A.P.B.A (Academia Portuguesa de Belas Artes), it was a remarkable point in our History, we start to act not only regionally, we became nacionalized as an Academy!
CONCEPT
During all these years, The Portuguese Academy of Fine Arts operated as a Workshop Atelier and as an Artistic Laboratory, where every single artist come in, try, learn, work, grow and find his own Path in the huge Art World.

Many Alumni Students are now professional Artists who do their own exhibitions in the whole world.

ONLINE TO THE WORLD
From 2020 onwards we started working on online tutoring programs, not only with Portugal but with many other Countries.
